Mizuki is amazing, but that might just might be my boner speaking. I’m a total hoe for small boobies and ecchi done good. I like my ecchi being provocative without being porn outright. Though let me tell you Boku Girl actually has some chapters that are very porny, though they censor the D and V sadly 😭💔

Let me not mistake you, this is heavily and about Mizuki’s turmoil and gender, but also very sexualized. Though it is very sexual, very ecchi, and has some very common stereotypes of a gender bender (like how do girls pee), it’s actually an interesting one.

I can’t say if it’s respectful of transsexuals because I’m not one and so I can’t say what they’d think or feel while reading this manga.Not going to defend this manga one way or another, I just take it for the funny and ecchi scenes tbh 😹

Mizuki fights with both wanting to turn into a male again because he likes Fujiwara, but also coming to terms that he’s always liked more feminine things that got repressed and come out when he gets turned into a girl. If anything, Mizuki is very gender neutral and can pass for both genders whichever way s/he goes hehe 👌

First of all, I must say there’s some very sexual harassment towards Mizuki even as a male, more so as a female, but it’s done in a serious way. It’s all taken in a comedy way. Let it not mistake you, this is 80% comedy, 20% ecchi… Okay maybe more, more like half ecchi, half comedy. The point being, this is hilarious and made me laugh so much. Most of the funny moments come from Takeru, Mizuki’s best friend, having the dokis now that Mizuki is a female and is constantly around him ungarded. Also from jealously when males start coming to Mizuki.

An example which makes me laugh every time:

I must say that 90% of the cast is either bisexual or pansexual, they’re fine with whichever gender Mizuki actually is, and don’t care. Though they’re mostly used for funny/gag moments, it still shows a really accepting world, especially when Mizuki being a girl now comes out to school. There’s never anyone bullying or be in disgusted, just acceptance and Mizuki being desired by males and females.

This might be why I like this manga a lot, there’s all kind of sexualities, without ever feeling like they’re putting down anyone. A rather mature thing that I enjoy, because sure this is a mature almost R18 manga, but a lot of mature mangas aren’t as mature in their stories and characters. Which is not the case here. And you know, it feels good, having a mature manga with mature themes that have maturity in their thinking.

No one is gonna give Boku Girl accolades for a brilliant plot or anything, but I give it all the accolades when it comes to gender, sexual attraction, diversity of sexes and overall presentation.

And hey, I’m not saying this just because it gave me one of the biggest non existential boners ever. I spent a week or so thinking and remembering this, and just being overall horny 😹👌
But hey, how can I not when Mizuki is cute and sexy?

There’s a lot of scenes of Mizuki growing into a now female body and discovering what it’s capable of, in a sexual sense, that are never pervy just sexy and niiiceee. Mostly helped by Takeru, and his elephant dick :roll::roll::roll:👌, because while Takeru only ever saw Mizuki as a male, despite Mizuki being mistaken as a girl, once Mizuki turns female Takeru’s boner is ever present. Takeru is actually a really good friend, and is always supporting Mizuki, trying to help turn Mizuki male because that’s what Mizuki want. In case you can’t see, my ship is Mizuki x Takeru. This manga is finally completely translated (by fans thank you so much!!!), but I won’t tell you who is the winning partner, if Takeru or Fujiwara, or if Mizuki returns to being male or female 🙄

This is super highly regarded by me, I have high standards for ecchi, I don’t know if it’s because I’m female but lots of ecchi done for males don’t work for me, so I was pleasantly surprised this did. Might also be because I’m a huge comedy fan, and this hits all the home runs with just comedy alone! 👌👌
