I’d never heard or seen this tag, so I’m ecstatic to answer these!

Questions:

• What is your favorite video game genre (I.E. RPG, FPS, MMO, etc.).

Narrative heavy games are my jam. Visual novels, click-and-point/adventure (think Ace Attorney and Monkey Island), Puzzles (think Layton), RPG.

• Which system do you prefer to game on?

PORTABLES. Vita, PSP, 2DS, yes please, more portables, give me more!!! If Sega came out with a portable, I’d be all over it too 😻😻

• Who is your favorite video game character?

Uuuuuuh. That’s a really hard one???? 😹 I’ve loved Aeris/th since infancy/6 years old. I tend to like all the characters in games tho, at least the ones we’re supposed to like xP

• Which game do you believe has the best plot?

Uh. How can I answer that without first playing all the games in existence that are said to have good plot ?? 😹😹 Anything that makes me cry gets my approval, but the only one to have made me cry in happiness was Ghost Trick.

• What game gave the most hype but didn’t deliver?

Hmmmm, I don’t tend to get too hyped if I haven’t experienced and liked the series/a game tho 😹 I guess Ao Oni, I live streamed it and jumped a lot, but I didn’t feel as scared/screamed like expected, and the story sucked 😹

• What game are you waiting for?

Oh boy, so many?!! Kingdom hearts 3, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Great Ace Attorney, Danganronpa 3, Zero Escape remastered. Too many tbh haha 😸

• If you were taken to an island and forced to only play 3 games, which 3 games would you choose?

What?! What kind of horrible person comes up with this question ???? I’d choose none then, I like replaying games when there’s been years in between. Also I feel like I’d be more productive in trying to get OUT if I didn’t have anything to occupy me 😹😹😹😹😹

• Which games do you feel have the best replay value?

Hmmmm, all games have replay value to me. I prefer visual novels or point and click/adventure because you get to replay without the hassle of grinding. These questions are all about replaying when I don’t really do it much. It took me years, and a Vita port, for me to replay Final Fantasy 10 haha, and I really enjoy that one! Ditto for others I’ve replayed. I usually only replay if it’s part of a series and it’s been years since I’ve played the first ones, then I do it because I’ll get to experience it all in one go 💖

• Name 1 Game that you think everyone should play?

Just one?! Geesus, let me break the rules real quick and say the following series: Ace attorney, danganronpa, zero escape. Sorry, I’ve been thinking a lot about those games/franchises lately. Also, play Sweet Fuse, that otoge needs more love!

• What game did you grow up on?

Ooh this is a nice one. I grew up playing final fantasy 7/8/9/10, Shenmue, Sonic Adventure. My Dreamcast was super loved, tho it wasn’t mine but my brother’s :’D

• Which game would you like to see come back?

Ooooh! Intriguing question, hmm let me think about franchises that are dead/sleeping. Suikoden would be good one. I also want The World Ends With You sequel. Oh and Ghost Trick!!!
I’d love to see more animanga adaptations into games, like Card Captor Sakura and Escaflowne got, and those be brought back would be amazing.

If you don’t see more otome in this list it’s because I still need to play and get deeper into the genre for sure. I haven’t played enough ones for me to really get a feel for what I’d like more.
