Can you hear me screaming because BOYYYYYY, I’M SCREAMING AAAAAHHHHHHH
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
/coughs
/deep breathes
I’m okay, I’m sane, I promise… Who am I kidding, when it comes to Daiya I’m crazy πΉπΉ
At first when I heard these news I was like rolling my eyes because we’re all thirsty for s3, and there’s always false alarms but we’ve been waiting and I’d given up on this until I saw exactly who said and what it was.
Ryota Ohsaka, aka Eijun’s VA, said “the anime is not over! It will continue for sure!” and I’m freaking out because not only is he in the ins, you might not know how powerful he is.
I read that he made Terajima continue Daiya in the form of Daiya act 2 when TJ himself hadn’t been thinking of continuing the story. Now I’m not sure if this is true or not, I don’t have receipts it’s just word of mouth, but I’m inclined to believe.
If he says there’s gonna be a third season or that the anime isn’t over, you bet I believe!
I’m super ecstatic, I’m gonna guess it might be either later this year, maybe next year or 2020, because the manga already has some 100 chapters, so I’m sure they can do a decent 25 episodes season at the very least!

Hahaβ¦I always love it when someone is this excited. No matter what it is, it never fails to put a smile on my face ππ
This being a sports anime (and me not being a sports fan) I havenβt seen this. Butβ¦.when someone is this enthusiastic for it, Iβm tempted to at least give it a try at someone point. I will add it to my too watch list, but am happy to hear that the series is going to continue ππ

SHSHSH, it’s embarrassing that I become this excited hehe π
That means a lot to me, thank you for giving it a chance, it’s one of my fave shows and that you’ll give it a chance means the world to me :((((πππ
I’m not really a sports fan, I mean I like volley and tennis and ice skating, but Daiya actually made me like baseball π I love a lot of sports anime because they’re gripping and the tension is off the charts while being realistic. I also like the factor that you never know who will win, especially so with Daiya.
It’s an underdog story, which I’m a sucker for, and so there’s no free handouts to Eijun but the tension and build up are extremely off the charts, plus it’s realistic which makes me love it even more π
It’s embarrassing how much I’ve cried because of Daiya, if you want a good feel for the series I’d say to watch at least until after a big match but I’m not sure when that will be π£
I can’t wait for s3, I’ve been holding off on reading Act 2 because I really want to experience it as an anime first aaaaahhhh π«π«

Haha…no it’s not embarrassing at all. I always think it’s incredibly fun when people get excited for something. Well..I for instance had not thought that I would like Yuri on Ice…and it I still ended up loving it (although technically that isn’t even a sports anime I guess). And it’s intrusion to hear that it’s an underdog story. I always love those πππ So yeah…I’m going to give this one a chance at some point. No problem ππ

YoI is a sports anime, though I wouldn’t call Free one just because you could cut the swimming scenes and not lose anything which you can’t do with a sports show πΉ
Ooh, if I like a good underdog then I do think Daiya will hook you πππ
I’m happy you’ll give it a chance, I’ll keep my eyes open to see what you think of it cause I wanna know your thoughts on it π

It will probably be a while before I see it..might not be earlier than in April, but I’m going to see what I can make of it. As mentioned underdog stories is something that I do like…so even if it’s as sports one, I might like it in the end anyway π
